Barn In New Mexico
This barn picture shows a really old building in New Mexico, USA. It is located about 25 miles SE of Albuquerque and is no longer used for anything. You can see the remains of the old, rusted, sheet metal roof. The walls look like they were built with the scrap from making lumber from Ponderosa pine. When they run the logs through the mill they cut off the outer edge with the bark. Much of it gets burned for scrap, but in this case someone had a use for it. The folks living out there in the early part of the 1900’s when this was probably buuilt were a thrifty lot; nothing much went to waste.
